Fall means fall harvests and our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together series stops at the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland for their fall festivities. The nature center will be hosting a number of indoor and outdoor activities to usher in the fall season. Visit the Ecosystem Gallery for an overview of the four ecosystems on the campus. The Wildlife Viewing Area offers an unobstructed view of various animals that call the area home. But you don’t have to stay inside. You can walk close to 19 miles of trails on the property. Next weekend will be the annual Fall Harvest Festival where you can enjoy demonstrations, crafts, and activities that reflect 19th century farm life during harvest season. Music, making apple butter, and make and take home arts and crafts will be available for the kids. Admission is free for kids and $5 for adults. For more information visit Chippewa Nature Center.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ…
