The Lakeshore will be spilling over with Irish music this weekend. This week's WCSG's Travelin’ Together checks out the Michigan Irish Music Festival in Muskegon, and it promises to deliver on the sights and sounds of all things Irish.

Six stages around Heritage Landing will provide plenty of entertainment to last through Sunday that includes bands, solo acts, traditional dance, and cultural entertainment. You can get up close to traditional Irish instruments and practice your Irish language skills while learning one of the many traditional songs of the Island.

For the kids, an activity center opens on Friday to offer Celtic crafts, coloring contests, a kids parade, and an exciting Irish treasure hunt. Plus, enjoy cultural presentations, enchanting storytelling, and free face painting. For information on schedules, food, performances, visit their website at Irish Music Fest.
