This week’s WCSG’s Travelin’ Together highlights one of the biggest festivals of the year in West Michigan.

The 10-day Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival promises a waterfront experience for the entire family. Music, boat tours, parades and a carnval, car show and quilts. And don’t forget the food! The festival will include multiple events that recognize the pride and effort of the US Coast Guard, including the always impressive parade of ships taking place on Monday. After that, climb aboard as you can tour the vessels for free starting that night. A Kids Parade, the Grand Parade, and a demonstration by the Coast Guard’s Silent Drill team are also included.
