Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together visits an art festival that has something for everyone. Hundreds of exhibits will be free for you to explore this weekend at the Kalamazoo Art Fair. Hosted by the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, the fair at Bronson Park features over a hundred artists displaying their work in metal, wood, glass, and photography, among other mediums. You can visit the art gallery for free, where they are celebrating 100 years of bringing art to the Kalamazoo area. There will be free admission to the Institute on Friday and Saturday. In addition to the displays, there will be plenty of time to shop, take in music, see artist demonstrations, and have activities for the kids. Food trucks will also be available. The fair runs Friday, June 6 from 3–8pm. Saturday, June 7, from 9am–5pm. For more information, including a map and other opportunities, visit website KIA Art Fair.
