Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together showcases an opportunity for families to see birds of prey in a whole new context. The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary will be hosting a behind the scenes look at the care of these animals. Guests will be able help caretakers feed and attend to the animals; eagles, hawks, and owls, while learning more about feeding habits, hunting abilities, and general care. The events will take place over the next six months, running from March through August, and there is no need to register. If you do want to attend, you must be able to walk a half mile along the paved paths. For those needing assistance, it should be known there is wheelchair accessibility, but they must be able to navigate a hill. For more information on costs and exact dates, visit their website.
