6/9/22 - House Hearings On Jan. 6 Capitol Violence Will Be Aired on Prime Time

Major TV stations tonight plan to air coverage of the hearings that are taking place surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021 incident in Washington D.C.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - The House Select Committee has been investigating the violence that broke out January 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

A mob ransacked the building and temporarily halted Congress.

The committee says they have interviewed more than 1,000 witnesses connected to the incident.  

A series of hearings are taking place and the one being held today, will be held during prime time beginning around 8 p.m.

They are expected to present new information.

Thursday's hearing is expected to be just one of several televised hearings from the Jan. 6 committee, with the next announced for Monday.
