(Positive Prep Release) - Today (Thursday) marks the annual observance of the National Day of Prayer, which encourages us to pray for our nation. President Harry S. Truman signed the joint resolution of the United States Congress in 1952, establishing this tradition.
Today is about coming before God with humility, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace for our people.
Throughout the country, local, state, and federal observances unite Americans from diverse backgrounds in prayer for our nation.
Your family is invited to participate in the virtual National Day of Prayer service tonight at 8:00 pm ET. It will feature many different special guests including Matthew West. You can find out more about it on the National Day of Prayer website.
This year the theme is: "Lift up the Word.,..Light up the World" , and will highlight 2 Samuael 22:29-31.
