If you’re looking for a family-friendly, quiet getaway then this WCSG Travelin’ Together Series stop may be the ideal setting for you and your family.

We visit the resort community of Frankfort. Just north of Arcadia, and nestled between Betsie Lake and Lake Michigan, Frankfort offers all the amenities of a resort community – plenty of activities along the water, kids play on one of the most beautiful beaches in Michigan, relax on the boardwalk, or visit plenty of shops and restaurants. Within a few minutes drive, you’ll find the award winning Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm, complete with a petting zoo. Or stop in at Point Betsie Lighthouse, the oldest standing structure in Benzie County, built in 1858.
