Now that we’ve had a good snowfall, it might be time to get the snowshoes out and venture into West Michigan. Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together visits South Haven where snowshoers and cross-country skiers can take advantage of several trails around the region. South Haven Trail. The Kal-Haven Trail Kal Haven Trail Map extends towards Kalamazoo and you don’t need to complete the entire trail to enjoy the area. However, extreme caution must be exercised because this trail is also shared with snowmobilers. The Ross Nature Preserve Near Covert offers a 5.3 mile trail loop that’s considered a more family friendly route. No motorized vehicles are allowed and you'll need to leave the pets at home. And the Van Buren State Park includes a 4.5 mile trail that connects the State Park to the South Haven trail system. The trail is accessible and free with a recreational pass. For more information on multiple family friendly events in St. Joseph, including maps and trail guides, visit St. Joseph Today.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ…
