If you’ve ever wanted to get into the spirit of the Olympics, you won’t have to travel far to get that experience. Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together highlights the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park. Located in the Muskegon State Park, the Sports Park offers a luge track where you can get a taste of what it feels like to hurl down the icy track. While it's certainly not the speed of the Olympians, it's still a realistic experience. If ice skating is more your speed, the park offers a unique “Skate through the Woods” opportunity. You can skate on a ¼ mile figure eight loop through a wooded pine section of the forest, and its well-lit for nighttime skating.
