The music video for tobyMac’s latest song, “Promised Land” pays homage to the hardworking men who paved the way for him. His grandfather was a coal miner in West Virginia, who died of black lung, and Toby’s own father grew up in a mining camp. And while that’s a beautiful music video to check out, the LYRIC video is pretty cool too!

The entire lyric video was shot in 10 states (+ Dubai) over almost an entire year of touring! TobyMac says that “They shot the video here and there when they could.” and that “the song was finished before last Christmas and it was hard for me to hold the song back that long, but patience is a lost virtue.”
