04/17/25: TOP 10 - A Couple of TobyMac Collabs

TobyMac recently teamed up with a couple of viral artists to bring a fresh sound to the dcTALK classic, “Jesus Freak” and a new version of the title track of his latest album, “Heaven on My Mind”. First, tobyMac joined Josiah Queen for his take on “Jesus Freak” which is captured within a country acoustic vibe. Regarding the collaboration, Josiah shared that “Jesus Freak” was his favorite childhood song and that “dropping this was a dream come true!” Second, tobyMac brought in Forrest Frank to help with a new version of “Heaven on My Mind”. Forrest has been a major player with his arena tour selling out multiple cities, including Grand Rapids. The two collaborations definitely prove that tobyMac isn’t solely interested in being a creator of music, but also being a mentor and champion for the next generation of voices. ~Jeremy & Amanda Source: CCMMagazine.com
