He honors the memory of those who have given their lives in the line of duty. Known as peace officers, law enforcement officers are on duty around the clock to protect and to serve. Today they are honored for the many sacrifices they make. Our listening friend dedicates this day with WCSG as a salute to the law enforcement officers whose lives were given for our protection and well-being. It was Jesus who pronounced a blessing on the peacemakers. We honor each of our public servants for giving their very lives in the line of duty. We are grateful for their service, and may their sacrifices inspire us to live and to give ourselves as Christ, who laid down His life for us.
