You’ll have the opportunity to get “bugged” big time this weekend.

Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together series explores The Grand Rapids Public Museum’s final weekend of their exhibit ‘Bugs.” The hands on encounter is crafted by the renowned New Zealand museum Te Papa, in collaboration with the five-time Academy Award-winning film studio Wētā Workshop.

The exhibit, build as a high-impact experience for the entire family, features four chambers to explore, bringing us down to the size of the insects to marvel at not only their features, but also how they use them to build, live, and move at breath-taking speed.Kids can view the creatures throughout the exhibit, getting hands-on experience without the mess!

"Enter the bugs’ world, marvel at their talents, and witness them in action. Meet the greatest of these micro masters and face their most fiendish tests. Can you fathom the dragonfly’s speed, beat the mantis’ reflexes, or defeat the giant hornet with your friends and family?"

Admission is included with you General Admission ticket. Special discounts are available to Kent County residents. Kent County children under the age of 17 are free.
