A trip to South Haven is not complete without a family visit to the Mitten Children’s Museum.

Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together stop this week visits a unique stop for kids of all ages. Children are certainly the center of attention, with exhibits that are designed to be at their level and activities that are fully accessible. The museum touts Michigan-themed, play-based activities in which every member of the family can participate. Visit the Maker Space where you can let your creativity and imagination run wild.

The Vroom Room allows your child to put on a mechanics uniform and help tune up the matchbox vehicles. And then learn more about nature in the mid-west, especially the birds that call Michigan home. For more information on hours of operation and exhibits, visit their website - The Mitten.
