The festival that has grown, literally, over the years gets underway this weekend in Holland!

When Tulip Time started in 1929, some 100 thousand tulips were planted and in bloom. Today, millions of bulbs are planted, and the city literally explodes with magnificent colors and variations. But not only do you get to witness the vibrant colors, there’s plenty of family entertainment to enjoy. Concerts, vendors, and a Makers Market with over 250 displays. The market has grown so much that this year the show will be held at Ottawa County Fair Grounds. But there’s artwork to enjoy, a quilt show to take in and family friendly parades to celebrate the Dutch heritage. Food trucks will also be part of the festivities, and a carnival will thrill and entertain. Don’t forget the fireworks as well.
