In honor of what would have been Kristen Cook Herweyer’s 48th birthday, the Peter C. and Emajean Cook Foundation is proud to sponsor today’s WCSG programming.

Kristen was welcomed into her eternal home by her parents, Tom and Marcia Cook on June 11, 2024, at the age of 48. She left behind her husband, Mike, and their daughters, Abigail and Grace, who continue to embody her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and love for life.

Though she is deeply missed, Kristen’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family and philanthropic work she so passionately supported.

We rest in God’s comfort and provision, holding close the promise of John 14:27:
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
