Governor hopes sweepstakes will increase vaccination rates in Michigan.

Governor Whitmer and the state announced the "MI Shot to Win Sweepstakes" in hopes of increasing the state's vaccination rate to 70% of residents age 16 & older.

As of earlier this week the state said 62.7% of those eligible have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 

Governor Whitmer will announce more winners today....$1 million prize and two $50,000winners

As of Monday, the state said more than 2 million people entered the sweepstakes to win cash prizes and college scholarships.

To enter for your chance to win, you can go to mishottowin.com or call the Michigan COVID-19 hotline at 888.535.6136 and press 1. Those between the ages of 12 and 17 must be registered by a parent.
