Hundreds gathered in Detroit to show support of Ukraine. This after Russian troops have entered Ukraine's second-largest city.

A Ukrainian delegation is scheduled to meet with Russian officials near the Belarus border today.  The talks come after Russian troops entered Ukraine's second-largest city.

President Biden is also scheduled to hold a call with U.S. allies today to discuss their coordinated response to the situation in Ukraine.

Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear forces to be on high alert.

The European Union announced new actions against Russia.  They are outlining plans to close its airspace to Russian airlines, fund a weapons purchase and ban some pro-Kremlin media outlets.

Some Americans are being urged to leave Russia because flights in and out of the country could be impacted.

Sunday afternoon more than 1,000 people gathered in Detroit's Hart Plaza and rallied for peace in Ukraine.  The rally also was meant to raise money to provide relief and financial support to victims through humanitarian aid funds.
