MI Benefits Center will help better connect Michigan families to available benefits.

Governor Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced Monday that the state is launching the "MI Benefits Center."

The purpose is to better connect Michigan families to available benefits and to help lower food costs.

The program will offer personalized attention from an outreach specialist to provide help with collecting documents and submitting applications for benefits.

“We know Michiganders in need often face multiple hurdles to access the support services that will help them feed their families,” MDHHS Director Elizabeth Hertel said. “Our goal is to reduce and eliminate those hurdles as much as possible. This outreach effort is our latest effort in the past few months to ensure everyone who qualifies for support can gain access.”

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
