Race cars will be the focus of various events surrounding the American Speed Festival, the last weekend in September in Pontiac.

The American Speed Festival takes place at M1 Concourse located in Pontiac, Michigan.
This motorsports event combines some of the most renowned brands in automotive performance history. Everything from Vintage Indy cars, historic stock cars, Endurance, to modern-day Supercars will be on the M1 Circuit.
This is a rare opportunity to experience race cars in motion from every era as they go around the 1.5-mile M1 Concourse Speed Ring.
This year, they are celebrating three significant automotive anniversaries, 100 years of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 70 years of Corvette, and 50 years of the I.R.O.C. Series.
There will be a special appearance of the Ford Mark IV which was built to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, it accomplished that goal in 1967, beating the second-place Ferrari by 32 miles at a record-breaking average speed of 135.48 MPH. A special focus of the festival is the legendary Callaway Corvettes. These high-performance machines, known for their distinctive design and remarkable speed, have left an indelible mark on the world of motorsport. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness these iconic cars in action and explore their storied history.
The Speed Ring is a rare opportunity to see race cars from every era perform on the 1.5-mile M1 Concourse Speed Ring. On Friday, you’ll see Corvette Parade Laps and we’ll bring back more parade laps for Saturday with Ford GT40 cars.
The Speed & Style Expo brings the finest examples of all the Race and Performance Cars on display and the Automotive Art Expo, showcasing a selection of some of the best automotive artists.
