5/18/23 - WCSG Travelin' Together Series - Grand Haven Kite Festival

Hundreds will make their way to Grand Haven State Park to enjoy their Kite Festival.

(GRAND HAVEN, Mich.) - The 2023 Grand Haven Kite Festival will take place Saturday, May 20th, 10a-5pm, and Sunday, May 21st, 11am-5pm. 

The event is being held at Grand Haven State Park and is free and parking available at the State Park.  

The Harbor Transit Beach Express shuttle will be running Saturday 9am-3:30pm and Sunday by reservation.  

There will be a number of colorful kites of all types and sizes. World-famous stunt kite fliers will perform to music.  

Sam Ritter, Lee Sedgwick, and Eric Wolff will return to fly their giant stacks. 

Celebrate 37 years of team flying with the Chicago Fire Kite Team.  

Bring your own kite to fly or test fly some of the newest kites on one of the manufacturer’s fields. 

Pack a lunch, grills are available, or buy food in the park or purchase something from the food trucks or head downtown for other food options.
