2/2/23 - WCSG Travelin' Together - Take Your Child to the Library Day

This Saturday is national Take Your Child to the Library Day. An annual event to encourage reading and family togetherness. Image courtesy of TYCLD. 2/2/23.

The annual event is meant to provide access to the library in a family friendly environment.

Libraries around North America will be celebrating “Take Your Child to the Library” this weekend.

Our WCSG Travelin Together series looks at various libraries around the region that will celebrate this family event during normal hours on Saturday. The Willard Library in Battle Creek is offering activities for families to engage in during their visit as well as several giveaways throughout the day. The Grand Rapids Public Library Yankee Clipper branch is offering snacks, games, and crafts. You can even get a tour of the library. The Madison Square branch is offering a drop-in time for younger students to engage in games and activities.

For events and times, visit Take Your Child to the Library Day.
