The US Supreme Court will deliberate the constitutionality of a male only draft when other aspects of the military include women. There are no current calls for a draft.

The Supreme Court is taking up the question of whether women should be required to register for the draft when they turn 18.

Since the draft was created, only men have been required to register.

The Military Selective Service Act is one of the few remaining areas where federal law treats men and women differently.

The last time the U.S. used a draft was during the Vietnam War.
