A day of mourning in Texas as President Biden meets with families who lost loved ones at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
President Joe Biden spent several hours meeting with families who lost children at Robb Elementary.
19 children and two adults were killed when a suspect entered the building, later barricading himself inside a classroom.
Criticism has not receded over the actions taken by local law enforcement during the incident. The Justice Department has announced they will begin an investigation into the response by law enforcement and the actions of a tactical team headed up by the Border Patrol.
Details of the President’s conversations with families have not been released. Biden has also suffered the loss of two of his children.
The President was also met with protestors who demanded action. Biden pointing to them as he prepared to leaving mouthing the words “We will.”
