7/23/21 - Support for Creston Neighborhood Artists

Lions & Rabbits website

Fundraising efforts get underway to help support art and artist in the Creston Neighborhood.

Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts, located on Plainfield Avenue in the Creston Neighborhood, recently received their 501c3 designation and has wasted no time in launching a fundraising series for the West Michigan community.

Nine events will be available to participate in, beginning Friday, July 23 through Friday, October 29 with all proceeds going to fund more public art.

Founder, Hannah Berry, says  "Whether someone chooses to be part of a community mural painting, shop with local artisans, enjoy brunch in the studio or cocktails at Creston After Dark, all these experiences will help fund additional public art projects by local artist in the Creston Neighborhood!"

More information on all the events can be found at EVENTS - Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts (lionsandrabbits.com).

The Center creates accessible arts education and enrichment programs for local artists and the community to ignite positive social and economic change in the community.

Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. This “foolish” plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God's weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.
