A driver lost her life after running into the back of a school bus.
-The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said the accident took place around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon along US-31 in Spring Lake Township.
The driver of a vehicle was traveling south on US-31 near Taft Street when she rear-ended a Grand Haven Area school bus.
The bus has slowed for a traffic backup and the driver of the vehicle wasn't able to stop in time and avoid the crash.
The 47-year-old woman from Muskegon died as a result of her injuries.
There were no students on the bus at the time and the driver was not injured.
