The investment caps an almost one billion dollars investment in the United States.

Pfizer plans to invest over 750 million dollars in a new expansion for their Portage plant, creating almost 300 new jobs.

"The new MAP facility, will help Pfizer advance sterile manufacturing technology by placing products into distinct, modules, and ensure the uninterrupted supply of critical medicines and vaccines."

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla says the the company has invested over a billion dollars in the last five years at the plant near Kalamazoo.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer says the investment will create good-paying jobs, and foster long term economic advantages for the state.
