Area restaurants are offering special menus and deal as they celebrate "Restaurant Week" in Grand Rapids.
Restaurant Week Grand Rapids kicks off today, Friday, Nov. 5, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 13.
Over 50 area restaurants are planning to participate.
The event is hosted by Experience Grand Rapids and features a digital pass program that helps participants plan their visits and receive prizes.
Janet Korn, senior vice president at Experience Grand Rapids says, “It’s a great opportunity to explore the wide variety of culinary experiences in Grand Rapids.”
Those who want to participate can download the digital pass (restaurantweekgr.com) and then check in with that pass at participating restaurants.
And, for every Restaurant Week GR check-in through the digital pass, Experience GR will donate to a scholarship fund to the Grand Rapids Community College Secchia Institute for Culinary Education.
