Food banks are looking for extra volunteers as regular staff aren't able to commit due to the omicron variant.

Food banks across the country are experiencing a critical shortage of volunteers.

Many who would staff a regular shift have had to cancel due to the omicron variant.

Many companies and schools that regularly provide large groups of volunteers are canceling their participation out of abundance of caution.

Local food banks are looking for volunteers and say if you feel comfortable helping them out then you are encouraged to contact a local food pantry to see how you might be able to serve.

Encouraging Words From Your Bible

“My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
