The blockade at the US/Canadian border enters fourth day.

The trucker blockade at the border of Canada and the US has entered its fourth day and the Biden administration is urging the Canadian Prime Minister to use his power to make it end.  Ford, GM, and Toyota have had to close plants or cancel shifts because of a lack of parts.

The blockade is part of a protest over Canadian Covid restrictions.

Windsor city leaders have voted to allow law enforcement to remove the protestors.  Windsor police announced via Twitter that they had "additional resources outside jurisdictions" in order to support a peaceful resolution to the protest.  As of this morning, no action has taken place.

Roughly 100 protestors waved flags and chanted last night in support of removing Covid restrictions put in place by the Canadian government.  Many saying they have lost jobs and their families have had their live disrupted unnecessarily due to the restrictions.
