8/22/22 - Thank A Teacher at the Start of the New Year

A new school year means another opportunity to bless those who help our children grow.

As more start the new school year, there are many ways you can thank a teacher. 

Teachers appreciate a thank you note, notes of encouragement, and gift cards for a cup of coffee on the way into work.  For teachers at local Christian schools, reminders that they are being prayed for and prayers of blessings for the new year are appreciated. 

Teachers often send out ahead of time a list of their classroom school supply needs.  An encouragement to teachers is to have those 'hard to find' items fulfilled.  Don't forget that snacks and gourmet coffee's sent to the teachers lounge never go out of style.

As always, check with your school district office as each school may have differing policies on acceptable gifts for teachers and their classrooms.
