Many are still missing and the death count from tornadoes in the South, continues to climb.
At least 74 people have lost their lives in Kentucky due to weekend tornadoes. A number of people are still missing and the search continues under piles of debris. The death count will likely increase.
President Biden signed a disaster declaration and pledges to tour some of the areas on Wednesday. He says the government will help in any way they can in a timely manner.
More than 30 tornadoes also claimed lives in Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri and Arkansas.
Thousands are homeless. Many will be without heat, water or power for days or weeks.
There are a number of organizations and churches that are helping communities impacted by the weekend tornadoes, like: The Red Cross, Salvation Army, Samaritan's Purse, Convoy of Hope, and Feeding America.
