10/11/22 - Group Will Read The NT From Memory This Week

Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 7:45 AM

A group will gather in Texas this week to recite the New Testament from memory.

(Positive Press Release) - Tom Meyer, a professor of Bible studies from northern Kentucky, had the idea of bringing people together to recite God’s word...from memory.

They will recite the entire New Testament of the Bible aloud, word for word, on state. It’s the first time this has ever been done. With help from the ICR Discovery Center for Earth and Science, a museum in Dallas, Texas, Meyer is hosting an event for the entire community to see, in person and via live stream. Meyer, also known as the "Bible Memory Man," will join with six others from all over the country for the event. It begins today (Tuesday) and runs through Saturday (October 15).

You can live stream it on the ICR YouTube channel.

Encouraging Words From Your Bible

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
