Raising Wise Kids: A Parenting Conversation with Laurie & Matt Krieg
Join us for an evening designed to encourage and equip parents to disciple their children in a world that is deeply confused about sex, gender, marriage, and singleness.

Led by local author and podcaster Laurie Krieg—alongside her husband, licensed mental health therapist and fellow author Matt Krieg—this event helps parents ground these conversations not in fear or cultural reaction, but in the good news of the Gospel.
Rather than treating sexuality and relationships as ultimate sources of meaning, Laurie and Matt help parents teach their kids to see them as gifts—signposts pointing to God’s design, His promises, and our deeper hope in Him.
The conversation will include topics like:
- What is the Gospel, and how does it shape the way we talk with kids about sex and sexuality?
- How can we help our children see both marriage and singleness as good gifts that can glorify God?
- How do we talk about gender and sexual brokenness in age-appropriate ways that are honest, compassionate, and faithful?
- Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions, learning from and encouraging one another along the way.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ…
