5. What is included with the VIP package?
Early entry, Q&A with WCSG hosts Steve & Kathy, and a professional photo.
6. What age group is WCSG’s Father Daughter banquet geared towards?
We welcome fathers and daughters of all ages! The recommended age for this event is 5 years and older. This recommendation is due to the length of the evening. We understand that for your younger attendees, it can be difficult to sit for so long.
7. What does the evening look like?
Activities and photo stations will be available for attendees to enjoy before dinner. Dinner will be served starting at 7:00pm. At the conclusion of the meal, tables will be shifted to allow more room for dancing.
8. Does each attendee need their own ticket?
Each person will need their own ticket to gain entry into the event.
Example: 1 father and 1 daughter = 2 tickets
9. Will I receive a physical ticket to the event?
There will be no physical tickets. When you register, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this email for confirmation. When you arrive, please visit the registration table and you will receive your table assignment.
10. Where should I park?
Parking is complimentary for all banquet guests who utilize the parking structure attached to the Radisson by the skywalk. Please make note that the gates will be raised for a free and easy exit at the end of the event.
11. Do I get to choose my meal?
When you register, you will need to provide the name and meal selection for each attendee on your registration. There is a menu on the main event page on our website.
12. Can you accommodate a food allergy?
Yes, we have meal options to accommodate gluten and dairy allergies. We also have vegetarian and vegan meal options. If you have any further questions about this, please email events@wcsg.org
13. Is WCSG’s Father Daughter Dinner and Dance in Kalamazoo replacing the Grand Rapids event?
No, this Father Daughter Dinner and Dance is in addition to our Grand Rapids event. The Grand Rapids event will continue as a Father Daughter Banquet (dinner and concert with a Christian artist). The Kalamazoo event will now be a Dinner and Dance with family-friendly music provided by DJs in place of a concert.
14. Do you have to be a father and a daughter to attend this event?
We encourage uncles, friends, fathers, grandfathers, or any other father-like figure to attend with their ‘daughter’.
15. Can we be seated with our friends?
There is a place in the registration form to note people who you would like seated at your table. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but this is not a guarantee. To guarantee you are placed with your friends and family, you will need to purchase all your seats in one registration.
16. Will tickets sell out?
We are anticipating tickets to sell fast. So please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
17. When the event sells out, can I get put on a waiting list?
Yes, please email events@wcsg.org to be added to our waiting list.
18. Is there a dress code?
There is not a set dress code, but with the nature of the event, most girls will be wearing formal dresses and dads will wear dress shirts/ties/ and suit jackets. But feel free to wear what would be appropriate and makes you and your family comfortable.
