5. Why did you change the Kalamazoo event to a dance?
We have received a lot of requests for a Father Daughter Dance. Many participants at our Kalamazoo event were already dancing. Now we are making a formal space for the dancing that was already happening. This event will be especially enjoyable for younger children who might not be able to sit through both a dinner and a concert.
6. Is WCSG’s Father Daughter Dinner & Dance in Kalamazoo replacing the Grand Rapids event?
No, the Father Daughter Dinner & Dance is in addition to our Grand Rapids event. The Grand Rapids event will continue as a Father Daughter Banquet (dinner and concert with a Christian artist). The Kalamazoo event will now be a Dinner & Dance with family-friendly music provided by Christian DJs in place of a concert.
7. Will the Grand Rapids event also become a dance?
No, the Grand Rapids Father Daughter Banquet will continue to be a dinner followed by a concert with a Christian artist.
8. What is included with the VIP package?
Early entry, preferred seating, meet and greet with WCSG hosts Steve & Kathy, and a professional photo.
9. What does the evening look like?
Activities and photo stations will be available for attendees to enjoy before dinner. A formal sit-down dinner will be served starting at 6:45pm. At the conclusion of the meal, the dancing will begin.
10. What age group is WCSG’s Father Daughter Dinner & Dance geared towards?
We welcome fathers and daughters of all ages! The recommended age for this event is 5 years and older. This recommendation is due to the length of the evening. We understand that for your younger attendees, it can be difficult to sit for so long.
11. Do you have to be a father and a daughter to attend this event?
We encourage uncles, friends, fathers, grandfathers, or any other father-like figure to attend with their ‘daughter’.
12. Does each attendee need their own ticket?
Each person will need their own ticket to gain entry into the event.
Example: 1 father and 1 daughter = 2 tickets
13. Can we be seated with our friends?
There is a place in the registration form to note people who you would like seated at your table. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but this is not a guarantee. In order to sit with friends, you both have to buy the same type of tickets (VIP or General Admission).
To guarantee you are placed with your friends and family, choose one person to purchase all the group's tickets in one registration. You will need to have the first and last names and food choices for each person before you purchase tickets.

We are anticipating tickets to sell fast. So please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
15. When the event sells out, can I get put on a waiting list?

When you register, you will need to provide the first and last name and meal selection for each attendee on your registration. There is a menu on the main event page on our website.
18. Can you accommodate a food allergy?
Yes, we have meal options to accommodate gluten and dairy allergies. We also have a vegan meal option. Please note the children's meal is a child-size portion and would not necessarily be filling for a teen or adult. If you have any further questions about this, please email events@wcsg.org.
19. Is there a dress code?
There is not a set dress code, but with the nature of the event, most girls will be wearing formal dresses and dads will wear dress shirts, ties, and suit jackets. But feel free to wear what would be appropriate and makes you and your family comfortable.
20. Where should I park?
Parking is complimentary for all guests who utilize the parking structure attached to the Radisson by the skywalk. Please make note that the gates will be raised for a free and easy exit at the end of the event.
