PowerStrength Parent Talks presents Raising Champion People with Hall of Fame Coach Noel Dean on Thursday, May 28 at the Special Olympics of Michigan Building in Grand Rapids.
This free event is designed to help sports parents better support their athlete’s confidence, mindset, and long-term development.
Many parents wonder:
Am I saying the right things after games?
How hard should I push?
Am I helping confidence or adding pressure?
What actually matters long term?
This event is designed to help answer those questions.
Coach Noel Dean brings more than 35 years of coaching experience developing athletes, leading championship programs, and mentoring families. He also brings the perspective of raising four high-level college athletes of his own.
Parents will hear practical insight and real-world experiences on:
• Building confidence
• Supporting athletes without adding pressure
• Social media and today’s athlete
• What to say — and NOT say — after games
• Recruiting and long-term success
• What matters most when sports are over
The evening will also include a presentation from PowerStrength Founder Mark Ehnis on why Parent Talks was created and what today’s athlete families need most.
This event is open to all sports parents in the community. Parents of athletes in grades 1st–12th will benefit most.

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
