Operation Handshake -Ford Airport

The Patriot Guard Riders along with the Blue Star Mothers are proud to announce we will be holding our annual " Operation Handshake". We will stand a Flag Line to honor and welcome home all our service Men, Women and Veterans as they arrive/depart from the Gerald R Ford Airport. We are also extending our holiday cheer to everyone passing through our line.

This is a community service opportunity for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the general public. The stories from past years are an inspiration for any who attended or happen to be at the airport that day.

So, if you have some time and want to feel what Thanksgiving is really about, stop on out. Join our Flag Line as we greet the incoming and outgoing flights, their passengers, family and friends. You can come for any part of the day. This will definitely make your Holiday season more memorable.
