More Information (91.3 WCSG is not responsible for external websites)
Twenty-three churches from around southwest Michigan join together annually on the first Sunday of October in a prayer chain along S. Westnedge, extending from Mt. Ever-rest cemetery to the Target store, and on East and West Milham. Participants pray quietly for one hour, asking God to forgive our nation for allowing abortion, holding signs to remind women that they have choices in spite of an unplanned pregnancy. Our signs include the following phrases: "Abortion Kills Children", "Adoption: the Loving Option", "Abortion Hurts Women", "Jesus Forgives and Heals", "Pray to End Abortion", "Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation", "El Aborto Mata Ninos", "Love Both: Choose Life", Pregnant: Need Help? 800-57-WOMAN". This is the 32nd year of Life Chain in the Kalamazoo/Portage area, and we invite our community to join in praying to "Change Hearts and Save Lives."
