Blandford Nature Center celebrates all things fall by offering free
admission from September 2 through September 30!

Free admission to Blandford Nature Center includes resources to help community members explore the outdoors. Blandford offers accessibility equipment and activity-filled backpacks, which can be checked out at the Visitor Center. Visitors also are encouraged to explore the newly renovated Sensory Garden, a safe space for those with sensory differences. Sensory backpacks, including headphones, emotion expression cards and other helpful resources, also are available at the Visitor Center.

BNC, located at 1715 Hillburn Ave NW, Grand Rapids, opens its trails and grounds daily from dawn to dusk. The Mary Jane Dockeray Visitor Center will be open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with the exception of Labor Day, September 1. Guests will have access to 264 acres of forests, meadows, and wetlands, 8 miles of trails including 1 mile of ADA accessible trails, 2 outdoor playscapes, the BNC Farm including the farm animals and Children’s Garden, and more. Guests can also visit more than 30 rehabilitated “wildlife ambassadors” in the Wildlife Education Center.
