As more people get vaccinated, many cities are bringing back home town festivals to celebrate their communities and to reconnect. There will be restrictions in place and some traditional events might be altered. Some popular festivals in Michigan and locally this year will include: Holland Tulip Festival, May 1-9 tuliptime.com Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island, June 4-13 mackinacisland.org Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival June 30 – July 4 bcballoons.com National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, July 3-10 cherryfestival.org National Blueberry Festival in South Haven, August 12-15 blueberryfestival.com Danish Festival in Greenville, August 19-22 danishfestival.org Christian music will be available again this summer: Big Ticket Festival in Gaylord, July 9-11 eventbrite.com Unity Christian Music Festival in Muskegon, August 11-14 unitymusicfestival.com Worship on the Waterfront will look a bit different this year and will be held in Holland….check their Facebook page for the latest details.
