Crafty Critters: Perler Bead Opossum

We’ll learn about these together, and you’ll meet Blandford’s own opossum, Opie! Participants will also have the option to make their own opossum magnet with perler beads!
Did you know that other than being adorable, the Virginia opossum is the only marsupial native to North America? Besides a pouch to carry their babies, they have a lot of other incredible adaptations. We’ll learn about these together, and you’ll meet Blandford’s own opossum, Opie! Participants will also have the option to make their own opossum magnet with perler beads!

Cost for adults or children (all participants must register):
Non-member (with craft): $16
Non-Member (no Craft): $13
Member ( with craft): $12.80
Member (no Craft): $10.40

This program is recommended for children ages 5 and up with their caregivers. An adult chaperone is required to register and attend with any registered child. Pre-registration is required for this event and capacity is limited for the comfort of our animals. Online registration will remain open until 9am on the day of the program.

Note: This program will be held indoors for the safety and comfort of our animals.
