Coopersville Quilt Show & Downtown Quilt Walk

This 23rd Annual display includes 178 quilts among the tractors and farm tools. 2 dozen more quilts in shops in Downtown Coopersville, Michigan too! Hosted by 'The Crazy Ladies Quilting Circle" which meets at Coopersville Farm Museum every Thursday morning, this show is one to be remembered. It is colorful, beautiful, inspiring and such a pleasant way to spend time with family and friends. Stroll casually through the 12,000 square foot facility at 375 Main Street and read all the stories behind the quilts or their makers. Sponsored by Discover Coopersville, local and national businesses, the Quilt Walk takes visitors out into our historic Downtown too. Two dozen businesses have at least one quilt displayed inside. Katie's Heart and Home has beautiful quilts for sale in her lovely Christmas Store and vintage quilts are featured at the Coopersville Historical Museum. Even the Brewery, the Creamery, the Pizza places, and Champs Bar and Grill have a quilt to show off! Ask for a map at the Farm Museum or City Hall. All businesses hours vary, so please be sure to check before visiting. Coopersville Farm Museum is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 10am-2pm and Wednesdays 4-6:30pm. They are also open for groups with reservations outside of regular business hours. Please do not hesitate to call and set something up before the end of September! This is a recurring event every August and September that enhances your visit to Coopersville (a hidden gem). Downtown is just a mile from either exit 16 or 19, just 17 miles from the lakeshore (nw of Grand Rapids). Be sure to visit 'Nana's Quilt Shop' and the 'CFM Store' inside the Coopersville Farm Museum. There are certainly some treasures and deals to be found!
