Homes Giving Hope will host its annual fundraising gala in Rockford and would like to invite member's of the community to attend.

The gala is the organization’s main fundraising event for the year and is guaranteed to be a special evening of dinner and dancing with a silent and live auction.

Most young adults with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities never get to experience independent living. Homes Giving Hope provides Christ-Centered, quality homes with resident assistants, so young adults with unique abilities can grow in their independence and live a fulfilling life.

Homes Giving Hope not only provides housing opportunities, matching cohesive roommates; they help build a broader community where friends gather. Young adults plan and attend gatherings, avoiding the isolation that so often comes for this population. The Resident Assistants are amazing role models. They lead their own lives with jobs and/or school but reside in the homes with the residents, becoming their mentor. Please visit homesgivinghope.org for more information!

Proceeds from the first annual gala in 2021 provided the means for Homes Giving Hope to open an additional home and serve four men in the capacity that matches their mission. They have a goal of duplicating this in 2023 with the generous contributions from this year's gala.
