Radio Business Development Representative
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Salaried
SUMMARY: This person is responsible to cultivate and steward strategic sales and philanthropic opportunities with existing and prospective businesses and ministry partners. As a listener funded non-commercial, non-profit radio station, this business development representative position plays a critical role in the financial sustainability and growth of WCSG. The individual will accomplish this through a variety of relational moves and exceptional communication of the WCSG mission with prospective partners and donors.
JOB TITLE: Radio Business Development Representative

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Identifies and qualifies new WCSG business prospects for partnership opportunities.
- Maintains, grows, and deepens business relationships by creating and implementing a robust communication plan for assigned portfolio of business partners.
- Develops and presents strategic proposals to businesses and individuals seeking to partner with WCSG through radio underwriting, sponsorships, and financial contributions.
- Stays up to date on industry trends, applying best practice to daily work.
- Ambassadors the WCSG mission at networking, client/donor, and station events.
- Accurately and consistently records daily activities, client/donor communication and other critical information in CRM system.
- Writes and delivers underwriting copy for business partners.
- Strictly adhere to FCC guidelines for non-commercial stations in all areas of job.
- Collaborates with Development Officer as needed to deepen client/donor relationship.
- Actively participates in regular team and department meetings.
- Position requires 50-75% travel.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, broadcasting, non-profit administration, or equivalent experience.
- Three years demonstrated success in marketing, advertising and/or sales.
- Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses technical acumen with competency in use of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Raisers Edge or other CRM experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the Christian broadcasting, public broadcasting, philanthropic and/or commercial broadcasting industry preferred.
- Possesses the highest standard of personal and professional integrity.
- Exhibits a growth mindset.
- Ministry/service orientation; highly collaborative team player.

Development Database Coordinator
CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time 28 hours per week
SUMMARY: The Development Database Coordinator will provide essential support for WCSG Development and the CU Advancement Department. This individual plays an integral role in providing accurate reporting for key decision makers. The Database Coordinator will also support a cross-functional team dynamic by focusing on industry specific personal growth and development.
JOB TITLE: Development Database Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Database Administrator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide regular reports to WCSG leadership and the finance team as directed by Database Administrator.
- Perform maintenance and clean-up of WCSG and Cornerstone University donor and alumni databases. (Raiser’s Edge, BBMS, ACD Direct and Radio Workflow etc.).
- Audit for accuracy in coordination with WCSG Development, WCSG Programming and CU Advancement. Send timely constituent statements and invoices. Prepares and sends reminders to constituents for recurring gift commitments and pledges. Assists associated Relational Team members with important data as needed.
- Provide back-up support for gift processors; may include but not limited to answering donor and/or client phone inquiries, responding to e-mail requests, processing gifts or escalating situations to supervisor or other appropriate individuals.
- Create accurate and actionable queries and lists for internal and external needs.
- Import data sets into Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, RadioWorkflow and/or other data systems as needed.
- Review, approve and develop donation and event pages in Raiser’s Edge and ACD Direct based on best practices and needs of department. At all times follows brand guidelines.
- Seek areas of improvement and make recommendations to direct supervisor.
- Maintain the highest level of compliance and standards according to PCI, FCC, GAAP, and the AFP.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, accounting, non-profit administration or related field and high degree of proficiency working in databases and organizational systems.
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, Radio station billing, Development CRM or accounting software is a plus.
