North Korea ranked worst in world for Christians - Jan 9th, 2014 - International
WASHINGTON— An organization that monitors religious persecution has concluded once again that North Korea is the worst country in the world for Christians.
It's the 12th consecutive year that the regime has headed Open Doors USA's World Watch List of countries that persecute Christians. The organization estimates the regime has between 50,000 and 70,000 Christians imprisoned in labor camps because of their faith.
The other nations that make up the top five offenders are Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
