Teen boy taken into custody after laundromat shooting - Oct 8th, 2013 - Local
According to Mlive.com, Police took a young teenage boy into custody early Tuesday morning,after a shooting at the Plainfield Avenue Coin Laundry hours before.
The arrest at Northlake Village Cooperative apartments, 3425 Northlake Dr., NE, was made after an hours-long stand-off outside a unit where the teenage boy was inside with his mother and sister.
The boy's mother reportedly came out and was not aware her son was considered a suspect. Eventually the teen was taken into custody around 4 a.m.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at 6 p.m. on Monday and found two young adult males outside the laundromat with gunshot wounds.
Authorities say the three males had arranged to meet for the exchange of a cellphone through a Craigslist ad.
