Manistee gets ready for Trooper's funeral this weekend - Sep 13th, 2013 - State

Preparations are underway for the visitation and funeral for Trooper Paul Butterfield. He was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop on Monday.
Manistee High School will host visitation and the funeral on Saturday and they are both open to the public. The visitation begins at 10 a.m. and the funeral will follow around 1 p.m.
Gov. Rick Snyder is planning to attend the funeral along with some 1,000 police officers.
Students will help prepare the building and the grounds at the High School for the ceremony on Saturday.
Donations are also being accepted to help Trooper Butterfield's family and they can be sent to the Michigan State Troopers Assistance Fund in Lansing.
