Enbridge needs to find a dredge pad - Aug 28th, 2013 - Local

The state of Michigan has given Enbridge the approval to dredge a portion of Morrow Lake in Comstock Township.
In 2010 one of the company's pipelines burst, spilling 800,000 gallons of crude oil into the Kalamazoo River and Enbridge has been working to clean it up ever since.
The permit that was approved this week, will give Enbridge permission to dredge Morrow Lake which is the latest step in the cleanup effort. The Canada-based company can't start until it finds a site for a dredge pad, which has been a point of controversy in Comstock Township.
