You’ll be able to enjoy so many more Michigan apples this season. The Michigan Apple Committee announced this years crop is estimated to be significantly larger than last year.
That won't be difficult since last year's crop was severely damaged because of the weather. Diane Smith with the MAC tells us some 30 million bushels are expected to be harvested compared to just three million bushels the year before.
On average, growers can harvest around 20-22 million bushels per year in Michigan.
